Feel good about treating ~yourself~ this holiday season. Look good and support an important organization! This 26" square silk scarf features artwork inspired by one of my uncle David’s paintings. The design is printed on lightweight 100% silk habotai, finished with a machine rolled baby hem. Printed and finished locally in Montreal, the print is permanent and will never fade with use or washing. All profits from the sale of this silk scarf will go to La fondation québécoise du sida. http://www.fqsida.org/

My uncle David was an artist and we have several of his paintings in our home, including the original painting that inspired this scarf. My uncle David had AIDS; he died in 1990. In support of World AIDS Day on December 1st, all profits from the sale of this silk scarf will go to the Québec AIDS foundation. La Fondation québécoise du sida is the main fundraising organization to support people living with HIV in Quebec. It funds the intervention activities of local organizations that share the same community approach, in order to respond to the many challenges that HIV / AIDS poses to the community.
